Some of those bodies remind me of thingy cars.

That's a great story the Ford dealer gave nothing to us when our folks got cars.
Did you use it much as a kid, it still looks new?

A person saw my recent HO slot car post and offered to give me a few HO Vettes he had been holding on to for 20 years.
Then another friend suggested we swap race cars and offered a Red Greenwood style Vette. I like Vettes.

The set stayed in a closet at the place we have at Lake Martin and was called my "rainy day game". It didn't get played with much but I do have memories of me and Pawpaw racing. I have played with it more as an adult than I did as a kid, lol. I just a big kid anyway. Lol.

The real Vette race car would look cool with a Cheetah body. Faux license plate that reads COX. The Matchbox guys would not get it. Really longgggg nose on that one.

i picked up this 1/43 artmodel ferrari for $1. at the flea market. Missing the hood and windshield but really nice quality i couldnt leave it behind. I doubt i can find replacement parts but i put it on an eye level shelf so i cant see the missing parts so much it still looks good. I might have a go at making the parts.

In the video saw the brush on glue reminded me of the Testors glue in a tube we used in the 60s.
In the family room watching TV assembled plastic models (Badman was a favorite), in my bedroom mixing epoxy building balsa wood airplanes, glue fumes must of been terrible.
At least my wife does her nail polish in the back of the house.
It was on 25 cents a tube now it's $3.50 a tube.

Oh yeah, I remember Badman, you can still find that kit. When I was a kid, I built a '55 Chevy that was black with flames and had a clear hood scoop, I thought it was super cool.
Haha, here it is, I found it on ebay, listing is for 40 bucks.

Found this 1/12th model on Amazon the other day. A re-release of the model they made back in 1976. I picked one up to try my modeling skills.

My daughter was babysitting this Little Dude today. It was raining so I got out one of my slot car sets and we played with it for a while. I set it up as it normally would be set up with a loop but later reconfigured it so it would be easier to race. It was so neat to see his little eyes light up when he saw the track.

These little 1/43 scale Carrera Go slot cars have some pretty nice detail to them.
