Heres a few pics. She warmed up to us quickly. In the absence of proper vet care, consider the animal shelter for her own good. There’s a lot that can go wrong.

I wouldn't worry about how scrawny the cat is, just feed her. Our stray adopted took about four feedings before she let me pet and pick her up. She took to the crapper box almost immediately. She did not go to the vet until after she was done nursing the second litter.
Here she is calling on me to let her out just moments ago.  She is tiny.

The blessed event has transpired. Mia presented us with 4 kittens yesterday, Townes, Levon, Aretha, and Glory. (names are tenative, since we don't know the sex of any of them).
 Mia welcoming Levon into the world.  There's Aretha, laying on top of Townes as he is being born.  The whole birthing process took about 45 minutes. Mia went to sleep immediately after cleaning the last kitten and they all went in for their first meal. Sixty second video of four 17-hour-old squirming kittens.
