Funny... Vaccine vaccine vaccine...
And yet: https://health.ucsd.edu/news/releases/Pages/2020-09-23-statins-reduce-covid-19-severity-likely-by-removing-cholesterol-virus-uses-to-infect.aspx Hat tip to Chocaholic. |
What ever happened to civic responsibility
What is going to happen is that non-vaccinated people are going to be the breeding ground for the next level virus mutation that is makes fully vaccinated folks sick as well and all of us are going back into lock down or worse!
So be a member of society, take responsibility for not just yourself but for the greater good of all people (just like your forefathers who signed up to fight the nazis) and get freaking vaccinated. |

It would seem like having private businesses handle the mandate part would be the only way to install a mandate. It’s kind of similar to what California is doing with gun control measures. They’ve abandoned for the most part, going after the guns. It’s much easier to go after the ammo. The feds would never be able to mandate a vaccine completely but if you want to continue working for your employer? Well, take the jab. |

So.. " the next level virus mutation" will be found only in nonvaccinated (Nazis) but not found in the vaccinated (the most pure and virtuous good guys) . .. until . . it is mutated, at which point it will kill the vaccinated. (and so we must kill the unvaccinated like they are the Nazis that they are.) Do I have your bucket of random rusted bolts sorted right there? |

I thought my idea was pretty well formed. The virus is the enemy, we should all agree to act as a society to take collective action to protect what we cherish even though it may make us uncomfortable or possible put ourselves at risk.
That is what our forefathers did when signing up to go to war. They thought about neighbors, their kids, their wives and the broader communities futures and stepped forward acknowledging the risks. I think the analogy is a pretty good one. If we get the vaccination rate up (which take individuals making the tough choice to get in line and take a personal risk by getting the shot), we can reduce the likelihood of this virus mutating. Vaccination reduces the virus' ability to replicate. Its in replication that mutations occur. My 14 year old had the guts to risk rare side effects to "do the right thing" and he HATES needles. I have been pretty chill up till now, but I'm starting to get really frustrated by the "contentious objectors" in this fight against the virus. |
What if the vaccines end up being worse for your overall health long-term than the threat of Covid?
Are you going to regret having been vaccinated? |
^^^ If I didn't have covid prior, I may be on your side. However, it appears I'm better off than you.
Why don't you stuff yourself in a cooler to avoid it? You and I have the same choice. I think you chose wrong. java, not aimed at you. |
What other experimental vaccinations are you willing to volunteer your children for? Just ones for diseases that rarely affect/kill children or any the all-knowing government might choose to mandate?
|
Nope, I'm going to hold my chin up and think about how I did the right thing at the time and contributed to saving lives and peoples livelihoods.
Again it goes back to "me" vs. "us". At some point you have to decide if you have a civic responsibility in this life and what risks you might take to protect others. You are walking down the street and you see a guy beating the crap out of a woman...do you call the cops and maybe try to intervene or do you figure...well its not wife or daughter...so how does it effect me. Or maybe you are on the Titanic.....do you shove the old woman aside to get into the life raft? These are extreme cases, but they illustrate what it means to put others welfare ahead of your own even if it means stepping into the unknown. |
So there have been 4.36 Billion Covid vaccinations administered...and you are still calling this an experimental vaccine?
Just because a government agency says you should do something, doesn't make it wrong. In fact its often right Drunk Driving Seat Belts Smoke Alarms Building Codes Food inspections |
That is some of the finest virtue signaling that I have seen in a long while. How exactly does vaccinating your child save humanity when transmission to and from children is quite rare? Are you going to allow take every other vaccine available (Anthrax, Cholera, Hepatitis A, Japanese Encephalitis, Polio, Rabies, Typhoid, Hepatitis A & B, Smallpx, Yellow Fever?)

Luckily I don’t touch many packages anymore. Care to answer my question? |
I see a rise in vaccinations, I see a rise in vaccinated people. No correlation to be spoken of.
Sending me to the cellar, outstanding idea! Well, I'm not going, but I will keep on going, and if I have to wear a mask to appease the public, I will. |

I hope that what is possibly going to be a problem for those vaccinated isn't as bad as it might be but I'm not confident that it won't. The real riony will be if the vaccinations make the Covid problem worse, not better. There's a reason that they've had problems developing vaccines for viruses... At the very least, get off of the soapbox. Whether you end up being virtuous, or a chump, neither is a good look for you. |

The vaccinated are the problem in mine eyes, you got shot up, then you spread it, and it didn't work. Major backfire. |
Tinfoil hat crew...got it

All I know is that there is a growing chorus of people with Covid19, right now, who are making FB videos from their hospital beds imploring people to get vaccinated. Some of the videos are from people who have died since making them, (sometimes the next day), and none of them look particularly old. Lots of middle-aged, none elderly. The big lie from the beginning coming from the right is that this virus is nothing but a cold, it's the flu, etc... All not only lies but really dangerous lies that affect people's behavior and help with the spread of it. The anti-maskers, (we have a big one here), telling people that masks don't help prevent the spread of an aerosol virus and now telling people not to get vaccinated. You can talk to anyone with a moderate to severe case of Covid right now and almost any of them will say that they wish they took the shot. The supposed, mostly BS risks from the vaccine are positively dwarfed by the risks of catching Covid19. |
