Shared a fair number of emails with him over the years, and of course posts here. Not so much in the last few years as I have not been as active on the forums.

Hopefully he is in a better place and his family/close friends finds peace.

Agree or disagree with him, but many lost a person they still loved to exchange thoughts/ideas/opinion with....

I'll kinda miss the guy. When being serious he could be a great source for information and had the ability to make you think about what you thought you knew. He sent me a weird PM a few months ago accusing me of posting his personal info... even though I had no clue what his personal info was. I wish that hadn't happened. The place isn't gonna be the same without his name twisting and weak insults. RIP Webby... from the "crabmango"

Interesting you say that- I had a PM exchange with him within the year over some engine mounts that to be charitable I might characterize as “unreasonable”. I ended up putting him on “ignore”. In view of his passing, now I wonder if he was ill and had began to suffer some personality changes? Makes some sense in that light. Once again I’m reminded you never know what’s going on with someone behind the masks we all wear.

that Jeff spoke respectfully of this webb guy, certainly is a reflection of his own character, and reflects on the departed as well.
