Pfizer says they can make a vax for Omicron in about 100 days. I'm tired of shots and boosters.

Since the vaccine is ineffective, it can never be used to reach herd immunity.
By ineffective, I mean it cannot keep up with the variants, and also cannot prevent transmission of the virus. All it can do is prevent severe illness in people at risk, with immunocompromised immune systems or co-morbidities.

Therefore, it should never be forced on the entire population, and be recommended only to people at risk.
Let natural immunity and cross-immunity take care of the rest. I am not an antivaxxer and got my two shots, but the buck stops here as far as I am concerned.

It is evident that the number of deaths would be greater since the number of vaccinated is greater, but what about the number of deaths/1000 vaccinated?

What Mrna chemistry in these shots that they mandate your choices away ?

Tucker Carlson has reported extensively on this subject. It is interesting that his entire staff has been vaccinated. Maybe he gets a different vaccine than everytone else?

I can get you a good discount deal on a 10-pack. You could just jab yourself every four-six months.

The exact same thing that has been happening for the past 90 years. This is nothing new.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Influenza_vaccine
Quote:
Influenza vaccines, also known as flu jabs or flu shots, are vaccines that protect against infection by influenza viruses.[3] New versions of the vaccines are developed twice a year, as the influenza virus rapidly changes.[3] While their effectiveness varies from year to year, most provide modest to high protection against influenza.[3][4] The United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) estimates that vaccination against influenza reduces sickness, medical visits, hospitalizations, and deaths.[5][6] Immunized workers who do catch the flu return to work half a day sooner on average.[7] Vaccine effectiveness in those over 65 years old remains uncertain due to a lack of high-quality research.[8][9] Vaccinating children may protect those around them.[3]

Vaccination against influenza began in the 1930s, with large-scale availability in the United States beginning in 1945.[10][11] It is on the World Health Organization's List of Essential Medicines.[12]
And on top of the similarity to the Flu vaccine, there are others that require boosters albeit much less frequency.

https://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/adults/rec-vac/index.html
Quote:
Immunizations are not just for children. Protection from some childhood vaccines can wear off over time. You may also be at risk for vaccine-preventable disease due to your age, job, lifestyle, travel, or health conditions.

All adults need immunizations to help them prevent getting and spreading serious diseases that could result in poor health, missed work, medical bills, and not being able to care for family.

All adults need a seasonal flu (influenza) vaccine every year. Flu vaccine is especially important for people with chronic health conditions, pregnant women, and older adults.
Every adult should get a Tdap vaccine once if they did not receive it as an adolescent to protect against pertussis (whooping cough), and then a Td (tetanus, diphtheria) or Tdap booster shot every 10 years. In addition, women should get the Tdap vaccine each time they are pregnant, preferably at 27 through 36 weeks.
The anti-vaxxers are going to believe what they want to believe. No matter what happens, they'll come up with a reason to maintain their stance.

I'm aware of an older couple who are grandparents. They refused to get vaccinated. Their daughter told them that they could not come visit and see their granddaughter unless they got vaccinated. They did not get vaccinated. They then had some vacation coming up, and the destination or method of travel required vaccination, so they promptly went and got vaccinated. Apparently, their vacation was more important than seeing their daughter and granddaughter.

Another friend of my wife who has been heavily resistant the entire time, socializing and getting around a bunch. She thought the whole thing was a hoax, was anti-mask and anti-vax. She's a little older (almost 60), a little heavy, and in generally moderate health. She got a new job where they were really pushing for vaccination. She then had a friend offer to take her on vacation to a tropical location, but the travel and/or destination required vaccination, so she ran right out and got vaccinated (it's amazing how motivating a fun treat is). She has, since her second vax, been positive for covid. She ended up in the hospital, and is having heart problems. We've heard that her heart will recover, but that she'll probably be on heart meds for a year until her heart fully recovers.

I have had my third jab. I've traveled internationally since I was a kid, so I've had lots of jabs that were required for travel. I think I've only had the flu shot 2-3 times. I think I've had the flu once or twice. I'm just not that concerned about the flu. But, I am concerned about CV. It's too new, and they know too little. Too many people that don't fit the "old, fat, sick" list end up in ICU on a ventilator and then die. It may not be a high percentage, but I'm not ready to die and I don't want to end up in the hospital, so the shot is a small price (at no cost) to pay to presumably minimize the impact of the virus.

This is not a 100% guaranty of anything, but if it has a high chance of helping, I'm OK with it.

Yeah, I like my "free thinkers" to come in packs of several million. Roughly the number of Trump voters in 2020 divided by the integer of Proud Boys times Oath Keepers and number of lifted PU trucks in America. Add in people who get their "news" from 3 or 4 right wing web sights.

"Free thinkers..." That's comedy gold right there, Jerry! Free thinkers who need their own leaders to tell them what to think.

more straw..

"Anti-vaxxers" are not driving the push-back to this insane vax push. - to call them Anti-vax-mandaters would be on point.

We have a HUGE percentage of the population that has survived the C-virus, and then of course have natural immunity. Forcing the jab on them is like having survived the seasonal flu and then having to take the vaccine for said flu - it's ridiculous. Add in to the equation the risk associated with these "vaccines" and job-loss coercion...

Total mortality over the course of the pandemic and the ongoing and unending response is the other side of the comparison.
