I've never seen diesel lower than 93.

That's because you live in MA. Use to be that diesel was the least expensive around here. Then someone flipped a switch and diesel was as much or more than premium.

I "looked"/googled to find any data re. if the gasoline gallons sold per unit time is going up or down and how much. I couldn't come up with much. Anyone find good links? I have to assume usage is going down but I don't know - maybe up.

I found this
The July report forecast U.S. gasoline consumption to average 8.8 million barrels a day in 2021, up from 8 million barrels a day in 2020. "We expect the trend of rising employment and mobility to continue into next year, and as a result, we forecast gasoline consumption to average almost 9.0 million b/d in 2022.

Ours here in Florida are not moving. I still see from $4.11 to $4.30 depending on location.

I started using my i3 for field duties. I am on week 3, it is not ideal, it is too small and too nice for what I do.

I am going back into my Toyota and buying gas next week. I honestly need the business expense / write off anyway. LOL!

In 3 weeks I have used less than 4 gallons of gas and spent about $30 in electricity. (guessing)

Personally I think the delta started to shift when producers and tax takers realized diesel was becoming more and more a fuel for personal use, and not just the bastion of farmers and truckers.

Any way ya slice it, they waited till I bought my 7.3 then jacked the prices up. I know they're watching me... the evil bastages.

Yeah that stuff hurts! That's why I just buy 5 gallons of non ethanol and mix up 1 gallon for my leaf blower and my trimmer. If my trimmer wasn't so new, I'd go out and buy a dewalt battery powered trimmer to go with the chainsaw we got for my dad for xmas.

My wife does a lot more interstate travel than I do (daily). She says she's noticed a considerable drop in traffic since gas prices spiked. This is in SE Arizona.

Still over $4 a gallon here, stopped at Wawa yesterday because I have their app, and the one I was at, cut off at $75, and would not reset so I had to stop at the one near my house to top off the last 18 gallons. On the traffic front, still plenty busy here.

I was thinking the same! I could go almost 1600 miles on that much gas.
