That is what I do. I get at least two hours, which is about what my back can handle

I should have mentioned the instructions...once you get the hang of it there are no issues

Thank you! Sadly I'm no longer working with them. Great product. Not enough support

Hopefully, you've moved on to greener pastures, Jim.

I used the headlight quite a bit this weekend. I didn't time it, but it didn't run dead in 2 days of use that I suspect added up to at least 5-6 hours of use. I was mostly only using the flood light, but I did have the spot and flood running 2-3 times for short periods. I also never had the light set to full bright or "turbo/boost" or whatever it's brightest setting is.

I'm pleased with the light.

Thank you,. Not yet. It's a great product. Just failure to market cost the company it's immediate future.

Now to find my next/last gig.

U Pro is charged and unlocked.

I look forward to using it when I have to get into a wheel well in my MINI.

I have a couple of $50. rechargeable head lamps but wanted one in every vehicle, one hanging by the dog leash and one hanging in the shop so I ordered a bunch of these cheapies on Amazon. "Amazon's choice" so I figured they must be OK. Two lights for $22. They charge with a USB (great for in the car), water proof, tilt and have the same functions of my much more expensive lights but are lighter on the head. They work just as well, the bright setting is super bright. I'm ordering some more for stocking stuffer gifts

It looks like Moonsport has been copied.

https://www.nightbuddy.co/collections/best-seller/products/nightbuddy%E2%84%A2-230-led-headlamp

And the new stuff is on amazon. But I haven't seen any specs on brightness or anything. It's probably an exact copy of the U-Pro.

I was shopping for a new bike light and I found this on Knog's web site. Knog is an Australian company that manufactures their products in Melbourne, Australia. They're products aren't cheap but they've got an excellent reputation.

This is part of a modular system which means the head and battery can be swapped out for different options. They can also be swapped between their various flashlight and bike lights etc. More info here...

https://www.knog.com/collections/pwr-modular-system/products/pwr-headtorch

They also have the "Bandicoot 100 Headlamp" which is on special right now for $44.99 AUD. ($29.12 US)

https://www.knog.com/collections/headlamps/products/bandicoot-100-headlamp

I have no affiliation with this company but I will definitely be supporting them.

The bandicoot looks pretty cool. Some of their marketing images gave me a giggle though.

My favorite is this guy who's got his light on at dusk when it's not very dark, and seems to be up high gazing out across a panoramic landscape. Because, you know, his headlight is super helpful in that particular instance.

All true and heads up, they're a little bit Woke but I'm OK with that. This is an email I received from them after asking the question... "Were are your products actually manufactured?" Note the blurb at the bottom of the email. This is a statement in support of Australian Aboriginals but I'm not sure how it does that exactly.

LOL. Essentially, more marketing, probably. "If we put this blurb down, we'll appeal to the woke crowd."

Granted, the aboriginals have, I believe, gotten a bum deal, much like ours over here and others in other places.

That's certainly true but things are a lot better now than they ever have been before for the indigenous people of Australia (Aboriginal and Torrens Straight Islanders). "We" have done a lot to atone for the past but guess what... According to "some people" we need to do even more.

(Apologies to the OP for the borderline PARF comment)

The situation that you describe is not anything that anyone here in the US would understand. How weird!

FWIW I have an earlier version of this light. Mine takes 3 rechargeable AAA batteries but the newer ones are all USB rechargeable. It has flood, spot, and red for preserving night vision. I use it for auto repair, night bike riding, walking the dog, camping, astronomy (red light), and it is a super useful tool. Mine will last 8 hours or more on high spot but I can't speak for the new ones.

A good headlamp is must have tool.

We ran out zebra lights all night during our camping trip last weekend. Due to forest fires, we were't allow to have camp fires, so we had to cook with a stove and head lamps. Stupid me forgot to pack a small lantern or candles. The zebra lights we had lasted all night at medium setting for about 6 hours for two nights between cooking and stetting up. We still have about 30-40 % left when I charged it back home yesterday. We had the 18650 batteries.

I've got one of the AA zebralights. They last really well, but on all flashlights I try to always modulate light output to the lowest that lets me see so batteries last as long as possible. I'd have liked to have one of the 18650 zebralights, but went with the moonsport recently. It's rechargeable and so far is working well.

Very happy with the U Pro after initial use working in a wheel well. The light was exactly where I needed it. It was very comfortable too, I forgot I had it on.

I have a few black diamond icon polar that I bought on sale when they were discontinued 5 years ago. It is like an icon but the battery pack is on a long cable so you can keep it warm in your pocket AND you don't have the battery weight and volume on your head.

They are good because:
- big battery pack (4 aa)
- lockout so it won't turn on by accident
- hugely bright when you need it, seriously you can see stuff 200 feet away
- red light mode for around camp so you don't blind everyone else
