Yes. A cut in a quota is indeed a cut. It means that they are not even trying to produce as much as they were. Instead of rushing to increase production (As we asked) they actually announced they would reduce their quotas (to drive prices higher). A massive failure on the part of those negotiating on our behalf (and contrary to what those "negotiators" indicated.
Good job dragging all the PARF threads over here. Seems a bit desperate (and against the rules). I sure hope that no one listened when you assured all that inflation was transitory (and it hurt them financially). You were just as sure about that, and it turns out you hadn't a clue. Anyone with high school econ class could have told you otherwise. |
I think I was pretty clear. Once again...why did you bring old posts of mine from A PARF discussion regarding Tucker Carlson's complaints regarding energy policy and Putin to OT and try to use it in a current discussion about Oil prices? Couldn't argue what was posted here? Shilling was ineffective there?

$3.29 per MF gallon. This is way better data than a member shoving some Tucker Carlson horse crap up your bum and then having to suffer through reading your response. Get in your 75 Pacer wagon, get out there and provide some feedback on prices. Just sayin'. It ain't all about you. Said with the utmost respect. Zip it for a minute. Can you? |

I am out every day and see the high prices...so I cannot understand why I keep seeing such glee (and excuses) for them here...or understand why I need to be told what they are (as I see them myself). If you only want prices posted here...then nag the other guys that are posting similar as well. It isn't all about you either. Said with the utmost respect. Zip it yourself. Can you? |
I deleted the other posts. I will leave only this one.
Fint's new math. 100,000 OPEC quota cut is "cutting way back" 618,000 OPEC and 160,000 Saudi increase in August is "up slightly ". |

Bob,
Gas was $4.34 a gallon on Pennsylvania Avenue (Washington D.C.) this morning. I hope this helps. |
Up over eleven cents the last week to city avg of $3.12 (AAA data). Gas Buddy says city cheapest at $2.98.
|
87 Octane is still north of $4 in Connecticut, typically hovering around $4.15, some stations getting as much as $5.15 for 87.
Premium, 93, in CT, is always $1/gal more than 87..... |
Filled up the Cayenne yesterday at BP for $4.06/gallon for 93. As I said earlier, that means PSM gets turned off more. $3.29 for 93 is the lowest "last 5 years" price IIRC so $4 is getting down there.
|
$2.679 for 87 octane at Ingles grocery yesterday.
|
Woiw! Ours went down to $5.34 after going up twelve cents in the past week. Getting more affordable by the day!
|
$4.999 diesel - 3.799 reg. gas.
|
$3.43 for reg here today.
|
Gas go up for anyone else?
It was 3.48/gal this morning, 3.69 tonight. Nothing on the local news. Filled up a week ago in Davenport IA, 3.18. |
The BP refinery in Toledo blew up a few days ago. This might be impacting prices in your area.
|
$2.629 for 87 octane yesterday in Cleveland Georgia . Diesel at the same station $4.499 .
|
You guys suck! At Costco, Premium is still $4.99 and has been that way for months.
|
Back up a few cents here...
. |
$5.55 pg to fill up the old Gladiator today. That’s 87 octane. Luckily I have motorcycles to ride.
|
Just as bad out here . . .

87 climbed to $5.48 pg here yesterday.
|
Trending back up...
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1664207593.JPG Amazing that CA is over $2/gallon more than say TX Especially with all those green CA electric cars. |
Bas up to $5.75 today. We'll be taking my wife's EV for a ride up to a winery and looking into some antiques stores after lunch today. Don't know how much it'll cost in terms of electrical charge, but I'm sure it's less than driving a gas powered vehicle.

^^^
Blue-gills are only $4/lb here. :D |
$3.64 for premium today at Sams.
|
$6.59 for premium in San Diego.

Scott. That looks like two & a quarter cents per mile to me, if it was a 214 mi. trip for a cost of $4.81. I've yet to totally charge my wife's car at a fast charger. Sometimes we hook up to a charger for a little while somewhere it's free. Otherwise we charge the car at home. We left today with a stated charge of 243 miles. I estimated we'd have about 25 to 30 miles of charge when we got back home. I miscalculated a bit & only had 17 miles of charge left. I've never drained it down that far.

We charge my wife's car against the 10% of excess power production from our solar panels. I went from 2016 to 2020 without paying an electric bill and sold the excess back to the power company at 2 to 4 cents per kW. So I'd get maybe $100 back for 3 mW of power. Last year was the first year of charging the car at home, & I had to pay $288 for the extra I used for that year.
P.S. - Our electric rates are one of the highest in the country. |
up 15 cents here to $3.73 for reg.
News this am says it's supposed to go up another 25 cents this week. |
3.11 here at my goto station.... and they are making $. Other areas.... they are making $$$$$ .... sorta like admin fees on a toll.... because they can.
|
News this morning said the local price for regular was up to $5.90.
|
$6.50 to $6.95 here in Escondido off the I-15 freeway
|
$6.99 Premium in San Diego.

That is a low cost way to get around. If I had to commute much at all, I would have na electric car. Since I don't even start my car to walk down the hall to my office, I just can't justify one. That, and nothing will get me to sell the 911 as long as I can drive it, and that same for the El Camino, so the electric car would have to sit outside as my wife's Macan is in the third bay of the garage. |
$3.09 for regular this morning by my house in Houston.
