Can you imagine parking the ****truck in front of Lewis's motorhome? There'd be an official FIA inquiry, grid penalties, fines for environmental damage from the Euro carbon police and worldwide social media outrage for racism. They take themselves waaayyy too seriously.

Herta's team missed the timing of the pit stop by 1 lap. Bet he was pissed.

As a bike guy, I loved the layout, hated the surface. Hopefully they do a full repave soon.
Mid O could update lots of stuff.

He rolled 7 times!
Here's the mind blower: the crew will be up all night fixing the car and he will be climbing in Sunday morning for a "final practice" and barely shake down the car for the race.

Pretty good race . Is Palou becoming the Verstappen of Indycar ? Great year so far . Bad luck bites Herta might be time for an exorcist . Felt bad for Rahal he had a great run going .

Very cool race. Not a lot of yellow flags. Not a lot of mechanical failures.
Rahal is bummed because he had a good chance for a podium at the least but, considering the first half of the season the team is heading in the right direction.

Palou and team are killing it, strategy is a greater discriminator in Indycar.

Pretty good race put on by our neighbors to the north . Congrats to the first time winner and that team . Tremendous turn around from the start of the season . Palau a great drive nursing a damaged car .
Fuel strategy bit some front runners . Grosjean will be looking for a new ride next year . |

I was bummed the race was only on the cock, so I did not see it.
As was said, congrats to the winner and his team.

As with Paul - didn't see it. The only bright side is that Toronto is one of my least fav tracks (along with Long Beach) for reasons already discussed.

I am generally not a fan of short ovals but the two races this weekend at Iowa were pretty exciting to watch . Newgarden is a master of working traffic .

Iowa puts on exciting Indycar races.
Newgarden is lights out there. Late yellow is only reason it was close.

I'm not really an oval fan...but this doubleheader was great. 7/8 mile track...fast!

I love ovals. Bull rings are super interesting because of passing opportunities. The race isn't won in the pits. Short ovals are even better because you can't win because you won and economy run (a la Rossi at the 2016 Indy 500). You have to win on skill.

For a tight street course today's Nashville race was a good one . Kirkwood ran a great race and Bryan Herta made all the right strategy calls . Well done .
