I have no curb. It would have to be on the lawn and then I'd need to move it with each mowing and nights.

The new 65” TV is up and running. The picture is very clear.

It’s too wide for the opening where we had the old TV, so I have it on the base cabinet for now. I need to figure out a way to raise it a foot or more.

As seen from my recliner watching No Time To Die.

^^^ Excellent.
Will be waiting for your review of the Onn tv after you get it positioned and adjusted.
(the legs look very close to the edge....same as mine are.)

Get a scoping mount. You can hang it from that wall where you have it, slightly scoped out to clear the opening.

I’m going to wait until Mrs. Rocket looks at it, before I make any permanent decisions….😂

So far everything has been a snap with the new TV. Turned it on and connecting to the Wi-Fi was a snap. It then updated the software and I was watching TV in about five minutes.

When I unboxed it and was attaching the legs, I was worried the front portion of the legs would overhang the base cabinet. Fortunately, it fits like a glove right now. It just needs to go up.

I bought a TV mount like this. Maybe the same one, not sure. Lots of adjustability.

^^^ It's nice to see that they have standardized the leg attachments.
My 8 year old Vizio doesn't have the holes for attaching it.

Yea, my 10 year old Hisense had a pedestal, no feet. The new one had foot stands that were too wide for my table. This was an easy fix.

I think something like an extending wall mount would work best. I could raise it up to the height (or more) of the old TV in the back. Then have room underneath the TV for stuff and add a shelf above for more stuff!

What company makes onn TV?
The primary manufacturer of the Onn TV is Durabrand, a private-label trade name for Walmart. While Element Electronics Company is in charge of all warranty repairs. You can only find the television model in major Walmart stores because it is a generic brand of Walmart.

Most likely the same motherboard of various brands.

My 8 year old Vizio is prob made by the same company as Onn.

The picture quality is great and I wouldn't hesitate to buy another.
The $295 price point makes it a minor weekly cost.

There won’t be bookcase modifications at our house.

This reminds me of the guys on the Bass Boat Central forum. They buy a boat that doesn't fit in their garage and bust out the wall into the living room to make it fit.
