TMobile Internet
Installed tonight. Completely, wireless and just $50/mo.
So far working as well or better than Spectrum at $85/mo which I'm dumping if TMobile works well during the 14 da trial. Hoping, weather or other issues don't affect the signal. we have snow/rain coming on Wednesday. BTW, the modem was free and Netgear no longer needed. I've had problems with Netgear working. Behind on updates and hours on the phone w/support. |

Been looking for an alternative to Spectrum for a while. I started at $45/mo and now costs $85/mo.
Just trying to beat inflation. |

I have had T-Mobile 5G since last March. It works pretty good. Drops out maybe every 2 months and I just reboot it for the fix. Speeds are not as advertised. My download can be anywhere between 30 megs and 90 megs. That sounds terrible but I am constantly streaming video with no problems. Spectrum guy followed me through Walmart the other day making all sorts of promises for good deals. No way I will deal with Spectrum again.

We are about halfway between 2 towers, so I assume near the limit of good connectivity distance-wise.

Nope. It's a cell phone so they know exactly where you are.

That's a good question. I think there may have been something about that when I got it (I'm sure that they don't WANT you to do it. Something about it registering to where you first powered it on and got it connected, but I can't remember for sure. I've never tried it, but I suspect that if the service is available in location A and location B, that it would fire up and work just fine if you moved it.
