Fall Update:
Sonny & Gizmo have been around and are establishing themselves locally, the skills they learned have served them well. On cue with the end of summer is Shadow & Jackie repairing their home nest for the next set of eggs. The mating pair that live in my neighborhood have successfully fledged two offspring this year. We now see, on occasion, all four thermalling in the skies over our home. What an incredible blessing to have them here, and to be able to see them as regularly as we do. They are actually quite common in this area once again, such a testament to our conservation and recovery efforts over the years.
