Even though there was no sprint stage to try for, the Manx Missile endured a final week of massive climbs and a meaningless time trial to FINISH HIS FINAL TOUR.....

What a fantastic time trial to end what I consider to be one of the best tours in recent memory....just stupendous!

I just saw it. That puppy can time trial. 1 whole minute. That's huge. He's only 25, there's are 5 or more Tours left in him. He is the rider of the old, tough men. Wins in the spring, Tour and lets hope he will bag Lombardi. Not sure if he will win the worlds. I wouldn't count him out for the Olympic. He may as well stay in Paris and finish the party with that win.
