small elect pressure washer

Anyone use them? I see the little Ryobi electric, not cordless ones for around 100 bucks. Most time, I don't need a huge one with tremendous pressure. I mainly use it to remove some dirt on the concrete surface, wash a car or an old fence.

But will it pi$$ off the neighbors?

I've been powerwashing my deck with my 4000+ psi washer. It takes a delicate hand.
The unit got partially clogged by some debri and was only kicking out 1000 or so.

Too lazy to fix it, It actually did what I needed better than high pressure, but don't tell anyone.
This is MURICA!

(edit- I did fix it, and all is good, I blew the grain out of my deck and my arms look like Arnold Schwarzenegger)

For small jobs, the electric PW does ok, but not great. At least for us.

I've got a ryobi electric, and it works pretty good for the few things that I've used it for. It's less of a pain than the gas models, but not as powerful/fast. Sometimes the low power is nice.

Mine is 1800 PSI I think. Works good for cleaning vinyl siding. 4000 psi will damage the siding.

Thanks for the tips. I will get that and give it a try. The larger ones are too cumbersome to have around

I got one. If you're trying to remove a fresh oil stain from your driveway, OK. If you're worried about breaking something, OK. Anything more serious, not OK.

You're not gonna compare it to a commercial version. Wouldn't even knock caked on brake dust off the inside of my wheels the other day at 1" at full force, had to scrub with dishwashing soap first. Meh, I consider it like a really, really strong garden hose.

So light you can one hand it everywhere. Good if you're lazy but want something stronger than a hose.

I have the dewalt corded pressure washer. about the size of a wheeled carry on bag. use it for outdoor furniture, some siding (not really great for a whole house job) and the cars. excellent for the cars.

From Home Depot: "RYOBI 1800 PSI 1.2 GPM Cold Water Corded Electric Pressure Washer"

Good for under the fenders. I don't use it for anything else, and I don't need anything more powerful.

I bought the Ryobi unit about 2 years ago. I've used it a few times and it's worked well. It is NOT a high pressure unit if you are wanting some heavy duty cleaning. A lot of car guys use it with foam cannons to wash their garage queens.

The electric 2000PSI is great for around the house, walls, decks, patios, light dirt on concrete, and cars.

I have the Ryobi one I bought to keep in my RV and use to spray my side by side off. It works great for that.

I've had a cheap Harbor Freight one for around 5 years. Echo the above comments. Its great for light maintenance stuff, cleaning tree dirt of the horse trailer, cleaning pool deck etc. It isn't strong enough for deep long embeded stains, but for general light use its fine. And one less carb to worry about.

I don't have water at the shop or barns...I use an old sprayer or five gallon bucket of water as a reservoir and use some very similar to this (It is at the barn):

https://www.walmart.com/ip/Cordless-Pressure-Washer-435PSI-Power-Washer-2-Rechargeable-15Ah-Battery-21V-Adjustable-Nozzle-Portable-Cleaner-32-8FT-Water-Pipe-Car-Washing/5605685176?athcpid=5605685176&athpgid=AthenaItempage&athcgid=null&athznid=si&athieid=v0_eeMjAuMCw5ODAuMCwwLjAxNjM4MzczNjkwMzY5O TQ5NywwLjVf&athstid=CS055~CS004&athguid=3de0x0fX4sfQPoUW1wwePrVI7Y4un_sIr7_l&athancid=1365803835&athposb=0&athena=true

450psi max on the above...I think mine goes to 600psi which works for me cleaning the shop floor, equipment, etc.

Thinking you meant Karcher. That’s what I have…Honda powered. Got it at Costco at least 20 years ago and it still starts every time on the first or second pull. It is bulky.
