I'm sorry Baz. She raised a pretty neat kid so must've been a pretty cool woman.

I knew you had a good mom before I knew anything about her. You can just tell. It's the best thing a human male can have going for him, throughout life. Sorry for your loss.

She was a GREAT lady, Baz. Wow, nice tribute. Love those pics. She helped win WWII like a lot of other great women.
Moms are special. I owe a lot to my mom. I know you'll hold on tight to all the good memories... they will get you through.

My sympathies go out to you and your family, David

G'day!
|
Guys......thank you ALL for your WONDERFUL words of comfort....they really meant so much to me!
I posted a few songs on the "covers" thread and every damn one of them brought tears to my eyes because they each had a connection to the love and caring involved. That's the thing about music I think we love so much though....it brings out so many different feelings and emotions. That "Stairway to Heaven" cover by Heart....just hit me.... Well, I have all the funeral arrangements taken care of. Mom, because of who she was, had already made all the arrangements ahead of time - back in 2002, I think. Prepaid so the only balance due will be $190. Some of the extras not usually included ahead of time are death certificates, donation to clergy, and in our case donation to local honor guard. I declined the limo option though so we got a credit for that one. ![]() My 3 brothers and I will serve as pallbearers along with our two nephews. We've had a LOT of rain this past week, sorely needed and thus welcomed. But the sun is out today and I can't help it's another sign from above. ![]()

Go Seahawks!
Baz, it looks like she was a fan but I think you are still in Florida right now. Correct? If you are in Western Washington, then we would set up a lunch. "We" meaning more than just me.
