Boston was not going to make the playoffs this year and they have delayed a rebuild for a few years. They needed cap space and fresh blood for a future. Both the Bruins and March said they wanted to make a deal. Initially there was a problem with the number of years in the new contract but ultimately it came down to money. The Bruins did a very honorable thing by trading March (a very valuable player) to a team in their own division (you don't do that) who had a shot at the Cup this year. They got less than they could have if they shipped him off to a third rate team in another conference. He is now got a real chance at hoisting the cup again in the next 1.5 weeks.

The Oilers got sucked into emotion and took way too many goofy penalties. That said, I don't think the Oilers are toast just yet. The next game will tell the tale.

The Panthers lost the momentum they had winning games 2 and 3. The Oilers shouldbe pumped up. McDavid said before game 4 that you hadn't seen their best hockey yet. He was right and it showed up in the 2nd period. The Panthers came back in the 3rd only to lose it in OT. So, who has the emotional edge tonight?
