The definition of a private jet has expanded.

Fantasy is nice. Reality is better...
I discovered you can fly semi private with companies like JSX.. Not everywhere, not always affordable, but sometimes it works.. Last time I flew OAK to LA, Southwest economy pretzel seat was $300 RT... JSX was like $400... You park 100yds from the FBO, avoid the big airport, show up barely 20 min before flying, pass security with a smile in 17 seconds, board with 20 people (if that) who do not look like shoeless bums, get gummy bears and champagne, land (and takeoff) within a stone's throw of the waiting room.. oh and legroom is not an issue.. Effing FAN-tas-TIC. Try if you can ! (when the price works) Sure ruined flying for me. Last edited by Deschodt; 10-02-2025 at 02:29 PM.. |

Friend I flew with.... We went to PEC LA to drive a Porsche on their track.. Bday thing... That $100 extra for the flight saved us 3 hours of hassle round trip, increased the wow factor 10x, just bumped the trip to another level.. (Driving a cayman GTS at PECLA did not suck either) . Highly recommended |
