Saw my first Florida Panther in the wild. Ran out in front of my car on US-27 a few miles south of Lake Okeechobee. About 9AM. It happened too fast to get a pic. But I did report the sighting to FWC and was looking at their 'sightings' map. There have been 15-20 sightings near the mountain bike trail I ride on, including this one. Maybe they're all seeing the same cat?

We lived here 30 years and I dont remember ever seeing so many starlings migrating through here. Several times a day we get big flocks landing in the yard

I remember the Starlings when we lived in Norfolk......cool pic!

Today I was out back in the shed when they came through. The roof is tin and the walls are glass. It felt like The Birds movie

We've been leaving food out on the patio for a feral cat that comes by around 8 to 9 PM. The local little gray fox discovered we leave food out, so it has been coming by to eat the cat food. Now we have to refill the bowls to feed them both. The fox is between the size of a house cat and a bobcat. It's so cute. We turn the patio light on, and it can see us looking through the full length glass of the patio door, and it doesn't run away.
