nice work... i'm too scared of the ebay ones... lots of unseen nooks and crannies that can bite me in the end... just like on 240Z's...

Cashflyer, I was considering an MGB a few years back, but several people tried to steer me towards a 124... far superior engine & suspension. Also supposed to be great cars once they're sorted, and a joy to work on. Care to validate?

People like to joke about the unreliable Lucas electrical system, but honestly a Marelli system that's 30 years old is just as unreliable. Lots of stiff insulation and loose connectors with age. This is my second 124 spider, and I love them. Any old car will need some care, but after you get that out of the way you will have a good car. The Fiat engine is a reliable high-revving twin cam engine that can be safely and reliably built to 200hp. Up to 300hp is acheivable for racing, but does not play well as a daily driver. 2 liter engines are still available NEW, as are the 5 speed transmissions. You can even still get 16 valve heads for them. If this is a judgement of capability, NASA classes the Fiat higher than the MG and Triumph. DO NOT buy an automatic. PM me and I can bore you plenty more about the cars! |

Here is one for all of you who like to play "Name that car".
Here is a hint: It has 4 wheels, 2 in the middle, 1 in the front and 1 in the back! http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1130449615.jpg |

The Bertone bodied prototype was presented in March 1966 at the Geneva Auto show. The first production Miura rolled out of the factory in March 1967. The Miura did not have scissor-action doors. *** Since the day is over, and since there is a new mystery car posted, I reveal now that the red/white car is a Fiat Turbina *** The new mystery is a mystery to me. I've seen plenty of 3-wheel cars, but not a 4-wheel in that configuration. It looks composite, and it is RHD. I don't think asian, so I'm guessing English in origin? |

Well, I fear that this may be to difficult to figure out.
Here is another hint. The car was built in 1968 in Ilseworth, London. |

Well the other funky cars from the UK were the Bond Nugs but those were three wheelers.
