It was not a cliche back then.

We watched the Maltese Falcon a while back. It is almost funny how many of the cliches are used but they were new back then.

The 1941 Maltese Falcon is good, but I prefer the 1931 version.

My18 year old sons fleet is growing. Next week we fly to Brisbane to drive a bigger truck back to Adelaide. The kid puts in 12-18 hours a day seven days a week and has three lads working for him. He has, Mr. Lawn Genie, a garden maintenance business and, Mr. Move it Genie, a freight and removals business. All his stuff is freehold.

Very nice, Dewolf. There is a lot of opportunity in the landscape business - having dependable and skilled labor is key to success. Plus putting in the time.

I had to research the term "freehold". It means free of any lease - meaning it is paid for. Good for him - I've seen too many in the business leverage themselves into ruin.

A recent project I did:
