the little old lady in the "rare and exotic" baby blue ford Taurus SHO wagon going the wrong way down a one way street. gave me .03 seconds to react, I needed .05 so I guess I lost.

amazing the energy the car absorbed.

she pushed us 40 feet backwards.

note the windshield, unseen are the pins in my wrist, and plate/screws in my wifes hand / foot.

sad waste. 1982 aircooled 911SC, one of 2254 made that year.

oh yeah, it was ON our 17th wedding anniversary night. Nothing like morphine after a 45 minute ambulance ride.........on your anniversary...........2 blocks from your vacation ocean front condo with shrimp and steak waiting for you........blamo.

sigh.

dyno'd at about 185 rear wheel in a light weight chassis, and corner balanced tuned track suspension mods to boot.

.03 seconds your life can change.

That was a couple of years back, wasn't it?

Don't remember seeing photos of the car before but I think I remember you saying that you took a pretty hard hit.

All the legal stuff done now?
