I don't think I could live there. That wall of water would just be terrifying. I guess the wall did it's job.

Gotta be a photoshop, right?
No way that flimsy construction could hold that vast amount of water...

I see what the guy was going for, but he came across as being too angy and just made me think he was an arse.

I dont think its a photoshop.
I cannot remember my engineering studies, but if memory serves correctly, the amount of water that pushes against the wall is only effectively 3x the height of the water. Further away from that and the water only "pushes" down and not actually against the wall.

I guess she's probably not that muscly, isn't that only 60-ish # plus the weight of the bar?

Very cool. I was at my mother's house in FL a couple of summers ago. She's got a man-made pond/lake out her back door. We were just sitting there in the morning relaxing when I saw something big swoop low over the lake a couple of times. Her lake is usually full of several kinds of ducks and other birds. I stood up to go see what it was just in time to see a juvenile bald eagle grab a full grow duck that was sitting in the water. It grabbed the duck and carried it to the shore 20' from my mothers back door. It landed and stood on the duck for 30 secs, and then eventually flew off with the duck. It was a pretty impressive sight.

I just moved from a suburb of Houston and used to see various hawks and small (compared to eagles) birds of prey catch dinner. Amazing creatures. Thanks for posting.
