I have one of those same locks. Super heavy, dam near un-cuttable and no real way to pick the lock. I loop it through my wheel, across/under the trailing arm to secure my buggy. Really sucked that morning in Hayes Kansas when I tried to drive off with it still on the buggy. And again in Kingman Arizona. It will rip a brake line off in a heartbeat.

my pops' vette on it's last day.
 my two fav gals  old school district 36 footage from 1982. 78 PE 175 Suzuki woods bike racing the cowbell or jackhammer national enduro. they did not have photo opps at some plain ol non national event... please note-- pose prompted by a sign 100 or so feet up the trail sayin "photo ahead".. ham it up mode..

Location: Placerville, CA.... You know, the only place on Highway 50 between Sacramento and Lake Tahoe the you find signal lights. Above the fog most of the time and I can see the stars of the Milky Way 8 out of 10 nights. Kinda cool.....
