For the prettiest aircraft title, although I do like the 104, I would nominate the 86.

http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1423861680.jpg A restored & airworthy F-86 sitting in Penticton, BC for a local air show. This was a 2 year (mostly by volunteers with air force backgrounds) restoration for the 2009 centenary of flight in Canada. In my mind's eye, I think the F-86 is what a fighter jet "should" look like & North American 'got it right' (my tastes have always tended to run towards the older iconic machines.) Cheers JB |

Sabre pilots were a crazy bunch. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1423864897.jpg There is also an unrestored Golden Hawks F86 at the museum across the highway from Stanfield Airport outside Halifax. Best Les |
