I'm not a fan of Pro Street, and I'm not suggesting it is practical or reasonable, but it runs

It looks like it goes into an aluminium box above the carbs, and that would just be just silly poser bait.

if it discharges into the intake manifold under the wheezer that would work but it doesn't look like it is routed that way. So many simpler designs and easier ways to do it. And no intercooler?
I suspect the wheezer is real (under-driven) but the turbo housings are M-T.

The turbos must feed through the carbs, if they feed into the intake it would run lean (no fuel for the added air). Simpler? Better? Undoubtedly! But it is a show car, it serves its purpose and it runs. Don't ask me to defend it, because if I had a '69 Camaro, it would look like this.

I had never seen or heard of a SeaFury before. I always thought the P51 was the fastest piston engine plane ever made. I was wrong! Talk about power:weight, 2,480HP and only 9,000 lbs. I also figured that to be the fastest it could not have the a radial engine - wrong again.

Such a hot aircraft, one shot down a Mig-15 during the Korean War!

Others' photos

Supercharged, 18 cylinder, 3300 cu. in. Bristol Centaurus, fuel injected radial engine! Do the Brits still make stuff like this?

And a massive 5 bladed prop to go with it!

I hear ya, but he can't pressurize the area above the carburetors unless that's a phony injector hat. Otherwize all that compressed air would go woosh up into the atmosphere.
Like i said, I'm thinkin the turbos are M-T.
But what do i know???!!!

Several of successful twincharged efforts through time. B-24, P-47 all the way to modern 1.4L VW's in production!
