A restored & airworthy F-86 sitting in Penticton, BC for a local air show. This was a 2 year (mostly by volunteers with air force backgrounds) restoration for the 2009 centenary of flight in Canada.

In my mind's eye, I think the F-86 is what a fighter jet "should" look like & North American 'got it right' (my tastes have always tended to run towards the older iconic machines.)

I have the same image saved from somewhere. The river in the background is the Miramichi in north-eastern New Brunswick (CFB Chatam was just a few miles away.

Sabre pilots were a crazy bunch.


There is also an unrestored Golden Hawks F86 at the museum across the highway from Stanfield Airport outside Halifax.

If the database has a table called "Students", it will destroy it. It's a decent assumption that a school would have such a table. The guy with the car seemed to have knowledge about the specific database for speeders and tailored his "license plate" accordingly.
