i totally agree. no reason to make them so gaudy. the fiat is like a work of art next to that thing. someday i want one of those fiats... abarth if i'm lucky

Actually, they don't have to be ugly. Here is an electric car by a company called Tesla motors at http://www.teslamotors.com/ which was discussed in a number of OT threads recently...The car is a dead sexy two seater that does 0-60 in four freaking seconds and has a range of 250 miles. It charges up in about three hours so you can plug it in over night.

The title of the thread was something like "another one bites the dust -- gallardo" and should be in one of the first 3 pages because I posted it Mon and I believe it was on page one at some point yesterday.

The body that could be seen looked like a man to me, but it's pretty much impossible to tell really.
