I suspect it's a reference to the apps (apparently one is named "wishbone") that are all the rage these days where you can take a photo of someone (or video) and make the person look like a deer, dog, whatever

Why would one want that?
People have to much time, clearly.

The Boeing X-32 was a multi-purpose jet fighter in the Joint Strike Fighter contest. It lost to the Lockheed Martin X-35 demonstrator which was further developed into the F-35 Lightning II.

I have flown one - mid 90's a friend of mine became a test pilot at the Mesa plant. Since I was the Chief Gov Pilot at the Sikorsky plant at the time and the Blackhawk line was humming along, the Army asked me to help audit the Apache assembly there. Two weeks. My buddy got permission to take me on a maintenance hop as a sand bag.

Hard for me to compare since I only had a hour or so in a regular 500 that I flew with the Maryland National Guard in the late 80's.

It did seem a little less responsive but like anything I got used to it...not HHH or crosswinds that day:)

How many other cars can you take to the track and still have a place for the wife to take care of the kids?

And 20 years later, I was flying at Falcon Field... lol
Many days watching the MDs do autorotative practice, and watching the Apache's flying around. That's a nice little airport!

(Plus, they have the Commemorative Air Force museum with P-51s to drool on.)

When my grandpa first saw the M491 dad had just bought back in '88 he thought the whale tail was a luggage rack ...

Of course, your tail rotor can't kill and maim as effectively with a NOTAR.

.

I don't fly, I just reluctantly ride in them from time to time. What is the point of NOTAR supposed to be?

The first time I saw it flying, I thought the pilot was just a little *****, then I found out that it hurts maneuverability. It was weird, I'm not used to seeing little birds flying in a calm manner....

(ESPECIALLY if you called it in to the towing company and got it cleared.)

My wife's car was towed on one of these occasions--despite the fact that we called it in. (Probably because of the fact that we called it in.) The towing company claimed they had no record of our call--too bad for us. This required going to one side of town to pay the ransom (where you waited in a line, 50 victims deep, to pay over $100), and going to the other side of town to get the car--it was an all-morning ordeal.

At the ransom-paying place, there was a lady sitting in the back, smoking, on oxygen. I always hoped that the inevitable would happen.

Not so random:
