Katie is a Native American dog, discovered in South Carolina in the 1970's and 1980's. She's a Carolina Dog, also, known as the American Dingo or Indian dog. Their DNA goes back to the Indian wolf in Asia, and it's believed the Indians brought the dogs with them 8000 years ago.

before I was of legal drinking age I was under the impression I would never be bored again after turning 21 and be bar legal. how wrong I was.

not to say I did not go to bars at the outset, but by like 25 I was already done with it. that and watching the movie trees lounge.

Non-healing or open wounds are treated with a device called a wound vac. That is the (bodily) fluid reservoir connected to a vacuum generator. Diabetics and IV drug addicts are especially susceptible to developing wounds requiring this therapy. That this was laying in the street suggests someone "discontinued" their treatment right there. Would imagine a sad story is associated.
