Man what a weekend! Give some engineering students some longnecks, then attempt to beat the ancient egyptians at their own game.

It is 21 bottles on there. It is mathmatically impossible to make a perfect triangle out of 24 bottles. And BVD, college kids, gotta drink the cheap stuff....sadly, hell coors is waaaaaaay better then natty.

porsche930dude, willys jeeps are awesome. I currently own a 1950 cj3-a
bone stock. did a partial rebuild with my wife 10 years ago to teach her about cars. These things are indestructable. 50 years, i've never cracked the engine case. A jew quart of oil every 5 years, and you're good to go. taught 2 kids growing up how to shift on this clutch, they ground the crap out of it, no worries. it just freaking keeps on trucking! they sure built these suckers to last!!

Those early Jeeps are tanks! They have Dana axles bigger than most of the 1 ton pickups of today. My dad, brother and myself went thru a Jeep stage where we all had early CJ5's. Great raw vehicles that are very easy to work on. My last Jeep was a CJ7 with the 304 V8 and I did the complete fiberglass tub, fenders, tailgate and top. What a sweet ride but the qudatrac was a gas guzzler.

i got mine as a first car when i was 15 and built it up to pretty much what it is in the pics in like 6 months. Last year i rebuilt the engine i finally had the time and money. It had a crack in the block from the bottom of the piston wall all the way up to the valve seat. I had it welded up. Also all of the top two rings were cracked in many pieces but it still ran fine. The funny thing is i ran it for 4 years with the water getting in the oil. It was like rice pudding at times Heres more pics and info if your intrested > http://www.cardomain.com/ride/310725

The single cab is my father in laws, the thing is too useful to fix it up and make it nice. Motor and trans are currently out for a rebuild though. The beetle is an imported 79 bug with Fuel Injection!
