I did. And I read it. Including the part where no one was hurt.

Hence the comment.

I've never seen a boat being lifted with someone aboard... risky stuff.

In the yachtforum thread, they're saying that was taken with a Motorola RAZR. Impressive!

Never thought I'd ever sit here. This was the plane you dreamed about when I was a kid!

Cool APU

Business end of 1/4 of the B-52 Powerplant

I was told this was once a very well kept secret - how the B-52 could crab while landing.

Flying Boxcar (Anyone see Flight of the Phoenix?)

You wouldn't want to hear this bell!

Wonder if they ever had to use the suit?

Big, bad ass air cooled engine. 4360 Cu. in., 3500 horsepower, 28 cyl, twin plugged.

4 rows of seven

They even use engine cooling tin!

Is this a carb?

Fit a 4R/5R case?

We've gotta have more details on the TR dyno run, please...

Is that Bruce McCaw's ex-Phil Hill car?

Early engines/nacelles.... F model?
Hard to believe that the youngest of the operational fleet of B-52s is nearly 45 years old.

This one was certainly showing it's age.

On another note, it's hard to convey in photos the immense size of a B-52. For example, the area under the wing looks as big as several houses.
