you had a working semi clutch thingie? lucky guy. I wedged my vbelt on with a screwdriver, set the back axle on a block, started engine and rocked back and forth until it hit the ground. stopping was an entirely different problem since it didn't have a handy kill switch or brakes. I found out first trial run it would come to a stop as soon as it was upside down. and that was caused by reaching behind me to ground the plug with the kill lever. for some reason, grabbing a spark plug at full throttle makes you jerk the steering wheel to one side at the same time.

Old school Bauer wearer here. I think my current skates are 7000's, but I got them in 2001, so they don't look exactly like these (I wear em usually at least twice a week still to play...). The Graf's don't really fit my goofy feet for some reason.

Bsiple... I am really a CCM guy and I bought a pair of Graf Ultra G-5's last summer wore them 3 times and returned them, they didn’t fit my feet either. I am on the ice at least 3 times a week 52 weeks a year between coaching and playing. Tonight I have practice for my 1998 and 1997 teams which are entered in the national AAA tournament next week, and then I have an over 40 league game. I’ll be at the rink from 5:30 to 110:30 tonight.

I wear the CCM Pro Tacks now. Its killing me they are canning the whole “tacks” line since I have worn them for 35 years. Here is a pic.

Good stuff, I have had CCM's in the past. I agree its a bummer they are killing the tacks. I am in a couple of adult leagues as well. My doughter is 4, and knows how to sakte, and I hoping my 1 year old son wants to play when he gets older.

Durign the regular season I coach in the Little Flyers Organization, I expect our Squirt Major team this season to be on of the top in the country.

I pray like heck that my 10 month old son will want to play hockey. I expect to get him on skates asap, I didnt start till I was 6 and I am almost 43 now.
