I can do A LOT better than that with photos from Berlin or Kopenhagen but unfortunately the photos would not stay up very long.

Typical floor-to-floor heights in high rises are about 12'-14'. You're forgetting about the thicknesses of the floor plates (structure, mechanical/ductwork, plumbing, drop ceilings, etc.) That can easily be 3'-4' or more.
