How do the photographers get these close-ups of planes in flight?

Nope, this isn't disturbing in any way. LOL

there was a discussion about this here a while ago. It's a guy from SoCal who does these pictures. He found his own company for air-shots. His job is to fly by close and take these shots. Awesome job if you ask me.... I'm sure others (Joe) can chime in here.
