This Stude SUV looks like the beginning mutation of Japanese "transformers". BTW, none of them look any good either. I prefer the more rounded appearance of Power Rangers.

Just what the world needs, another SUV... BTW, I was leafing through a German auto mag the other day, and there was a spy pic of Porsche's prototype for a MINIVAN!!!!! (supposedly coming in 2005 or 2006)
Some days I really wonder what car designers are smoking...

Oh gawd! That stuff looks like it was designed in the WB TV Animation Dept.
No, wait a minute! The artists there are much better than whomever designed that drivel...

No think I pointed out to you a few days back they share more than just a platform.
![]() Just a reference to the Jag/Taurus comment you made. Seems you think it really isn't a jag because it share a platform with a Taurus. If I am wrong then just take it as just another Cayenne bashing

Well, if anyone could be entitled to build an SUV, I would say it would be Studebaker. They were building wagons as far back as 1854 at South Bend and may have been the largest "vehicle maker" in the world by 1875. Trouble is with most SUVs is the waste of space and fuel. Not to mention they're UGLY. The Cayenne is fine for what it is. A capable compromise. I ask you though: Who is gonna put down that kind of money then take the thing to where you seriously need those capabilities? The whole thing escapes me.. If I go into the woods, I take something I don't mind getting scratched. Let the flames begin.

Was the Cayenne made to take into the woods? I think it exists to fill what was previously a void in Porsche's lineup. Porsche shouldn't be faulted for wanting a piece of the SUV pie, too.
I've seen a lot of them here in L.A. All-in-all, I think they're the best looking SUVs in comparison to the others on the road.
