"Elvis" came through yesterday coming from Ely, Minnesota (Boundary Waters fire where it has started raining) headed to Florida for their fun in the sun fires. The things lifts 2,500 gallons at a crack, has a total lifting capacity of 25,000 pounds and makes more noise than any chopper I've yet heard.

I found it odd that both of the pilots smoked cigarettes but thought the chopper to be the definition of form following function...that and it's clearly a boy helicopter.

Elvis and his sisters spend their Winter each year 'down under' helping out in the Australian summer with our bush fires.

Truely an sight to behold when they come in to fill up from a dam or pool.

hey wow, I don't think I've ever actually seen a picture of an Envemo before. They are supposed to be a top-notch replica. I read that they made coupes too?

Yes its a great car. They made about 200 cabs and about 100 coupes and beleive it or not there is another cab about 30 miles from me. I' ve had this car about 9 years and love it. more fun than driving my 911.

My wife and I used to own a condo right up the hill from the boat launch near Cave Rock. It was a Zephyr Cove address, but we were practically right on top of Cave Rock.

Our old apple tree is starting to blossom for the first time in 3 years.

Last year it only had a few sad leaves, and the arborist told me I might as well cut it down. Glad I never got around to it.
