It was pretty hazy that day (as in LA hazy) so we couldn't see very far.

You can see the signifigant algae blooms in the Huron river that is caused by the fertilizer run-off from golf courses and new construction neighborhoods with huge lawns. I live just a little downstream of this picture, and my tap water is pretty much undrinkable so I buy a lot of Coke-Cola products.

I used to service, sell and design powder systems. The big guys were Ransberg, Nordsen, Devilbliss and one other that 30 years of craziness has erased from my mind.....'

i think not, powdercoating is one coat only ( at least as far as i know)
while proper paint : includes zink coating, primer, and 3+ layers of paint

ok, now he turned baby killer
not sure if this is something to positively enforce, but then again, i guess he still is in his bootcamp days, and needs to practice

EDIT, turns out the mouse was just playing dead, and i'm a bit of a softy for things not yet killed
so i tossed it over the fence, cat's going ape***** now, prowling the garden like Atilla the Hun
i'll still mark this as a confirmed kill, as the mouse didn't stand a chance , cat's get 9 lives, i figure i can mark it as a kill, and give the mouse a second life too.
Lesson for the cat: kill things dead faster, then horse around with the cadaver
Lesson for the mouse: be better at avoiding cats

Liquid weighs more than powder, plus, the can get into all the nooks & crannies, heater channels ect because the powder attaches to the metal, after baking it comes out as you see here. The white is the clear coat.

Just like any flares, a good bodyman bonds them to the tub and matches the paint to the powder color. You couldn't tell where the metal ended & glass began on this one. The powder also makes a great base coat than can be painted over.

I took this one the other day on the Blue Ridge Parkway. I am going to make it into a poster and have it matted with my old Carrera emblem. I think it should make a lovely addition to the family room wall
