Geez, you'd think one of the geniuses in city hall would remove the SPARTAN motors license plate before bringing that to Ann Arbor. Brilliant!!!!

Not great pictures, but probably one of my happiest moments as a DIY mechanic.

Had a glow plug bust off in thr head of my e300d last night, as they are wont to do. This often means pulling the head.

With the help of some advice on the mercedesshop forums, I drilled & tapped the body of the plug, then made a puller out of 5/16 threaded rod and a 1/2" socket.

Dangnabbit, it worked. Pulling that plug out was one of the most victorious moments I've ever had in the garage

I have lost a LOT of hair in the past 12 hours

I dug the Carrera out of mothballs today and took it and my daughter for a drive. These all taken between Half Moon Bay and Santa Cruz.

This guy was trying to bargain for some of our clam chowder lunch from Stagnaro's.

Great pics. I was wondering what kind of funny birds thoses were, LOL, until I saw the people in the water. What exactly are they doing?

Sail boarding. The board looks similar to a wake board and they use the sail harness the wind. They can launch!

What's left of my #1 piston:

It had to happen someday.

Notice the little lizard? I was on a green getting ready to putt and about ready to swat a 'twig' that was in my line. But I took a double take and there was this tiny lizard. There was a small lake off to the side. He must have crawled onto the green and the poor thing baked alive. It was hot as hell without a cloud in the sky that day. So I made him a nice resting place.

This is my son at 1:00 AM new years day. He was officially 21 at midnight. I was an ass, and made sure he didn't drink until 12:01. Then he was 21.

As most 21 year olds do, he bragged about how much he can drink. Stupid thing to do at a new years party. ESPECIALLY when all of your dad's friends are there. My good friend played checker shots with him, and my brainchild son, chose tequilla for his shots.

I'm the fat guy grinning behind him. It wasn't long after this shot he passed out.

His grandmother did NOT find the humor in this picture!

Well the snow is rapidly melting around here, so we went and scoped out some new snow mobile areas yesterday in the H1. Found an awesome area that is untouched by anyone...... gonna go up and track it out today with the sleds.

A couple of my kids.........
