Those were the days.... http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1586414844.jpg |
I talk with Lube all the time. Great guy!
I had a 0700 VTC this morning and a squall line came through...it caught one of the local watermen out. He is running for the bay: 50kt winds gusts and fairly serious wave action. I saw him out of the corner of my eye. Pic from my desk: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1586431542.jpg |
^That looks too rough for any of my flotilla^
Spring is getting with it here on the opposite side of the US, getting lots of walks and bike rides in. A couple days ago my Son and I did a 20 mile ride on the northern portion of the local bike trail, yesterday my wife and I did about 15 miles R/T on part of the Southern bit. My Son dug out and tuned up his 1973 Schwinn Continental, so I logically went with my early 70's Motobecane Mirage in order to keep him in sight... at times. He's up there a ways http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1586440795.jpg Nakashima barn, northern terminus. I need to let my Son know the Schwinn has a kick stand, note his anti snag in the chain fashion sense. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1586440795.jpg Vintage joy http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1586440795.jpg More vintage joy. The Schwinn is 7 pounds heavier than my French two wheeler http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1586440795.jpg I choose my early 90's Sherpa to ride with my Wife on the Southern route, it's a better match for her 2013 Trek Here's your sign http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1586441272.jpg She's not going to stop http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1586441272.jpg Trouble with the Sherpa... the front wheel kept coming off the ground. Gotta see what's wrong with it. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1586441272.jpg Trail sign details- hmm, I've discovered Whiskey! http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1586441272.jpg Ingredients don't say anything about whiskey mam http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1586441272.jpg |

Byron,
Mr Grumps is a handsome boy. Glad he came around. Looks like a cousin of our Bela. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1586573594.JPG |

^^^Nice.
I have been all around the place, never there. Thanks! I will, of course, rectify my failings. Just before I sold my 356. My son is driving...seven plus year ago. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1586627216.jpg |
Been driving the 911 a lot lately. Storm A' coming... Got home. Daughter stated- "Dad, hope you don't mind, I parked in your spot to stay out of the rain!" :D

Byron, nice job winning over Grumps!
Not sure I'd turn my back on that one just yet. Seahawk, Nice shot of the 356, my son still hasn't driven my Targa, I've offered but he's turned it down... I think I'll get that rectified. Went out for a drive in the 911 this morning. Saw this poor guy in the road. Highway 11 and Highway 90. In New Orleans |
Couldn't wait for the sun, plus I like driving in the rain
