My son found this in the den the other night. I believe it's a baby praying mantis (?) What an alien-looking little bugger!

Taken today at Tower Rock, near Altenberg Missouri. It's an island in the Missippi River. Last week the river was so low you could walk out to it. I missed it by a week!
