Looks like the" Not so Deadliest Catch".:p
Caught some nice crabs Monday night. Found one great spot under a railroad bridge I can get to with my kayak. |
July 2009 Oregon trip:
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1249501367.jpg Ok... so I didn't take this one... http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1249501406.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1249501510.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1249501552.jpg |
went by myself last night and was telling my wife how it was JUST like deadliest catch! had my decoy retriever pole for picking up the floats then hauled 'em in by hand while fighting the angry waves stirred up by the 5-10mph gale i was in.
dump 'em in a laundry basket for culling then keepers go in the livewell. going again tonight if the weather holds out. |

Saw these yesterday when taking my son out for a drive

Apparently they where made in Ohio up until about 1970. Appear they are basically road legal go-karts as they are using lawn mower engines ranging from 6 hp up to about 14 hp. The red one is a Model 2 and the White one in a Model 3. Believe both where rear engine air cooled. The King Midget Club was having a gathering here in Concord this weekend. We saw about 15 cars yesterday running around. Pretty neat little cars but way to expensive. Seems they are running between $3000 and $8500 for the ones I found for sale. |

I picked up a new to me tuner, for $5.00, was marked at $10.00. Picked it up at of all places the U of M Property Disposition Office. What it was doing there is anyone's guess, looked like it had been there a while.
link: http://propertydisposition.umich.edu/ Don't laugh, it works great. It's not the vintage Scott tube tuner I've been holding out for, but things are tight right now and the old Carver CT-17's (pre-amp/ tuner) display I have now only works when it wants to. Lafayette LT-825, solid state, made between 1977-81. http://s184.photobucket.com/albums/x295/kach22i/Stereo/ http://i184.photobucket.com/albums/x...LAF-SYSTEM.jpg http://i184.photobucket.com/albums/x...ereo/LAF-2.jpg http://i184.photobucket.com/albums/x...ereo/LAF-1.jpg http://i184.photobucket.com/albums/x...o/LAF-BACK.jpg I'm using the tape outs for the remote self powered radio speakers in the kitchen. The wood sides need to be replaced, a nice little weekend project. |
Proper cheese burgers with Merkts Cheddar, most of them.

Looks like an antique game table. Does the top slide open to hold games?

http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1250028079.jpg I don't think it is a game table, but it does lay flat and the legs pivot to support the top. |
