Tried a few shots in sports mode setting on dslr. Really don't like the stop-motion look that mode delivers over the panning method.

That's for "slow" sports.....football, baseball.

I usually set my DSLR for 1/250 and blast away.

One of my projects earlier this year....

Those are little Piccabeen Palms......native to Australia.

We're on the northern edge of the proper climate for them - I'm hoping they will endure our winters. This job is on the barrier island so that helps moderate the temps.

There's also a nice little Tuscarora Crape Myrtle tree there to the left. It has beautiful watermelon coloured blooms in the summer.

The ornamental grass is Fakahatchee Grass.

The Spirit of Missouri made a visit to Pasadena this morning. From the flight radar, there was a backup B-2 circling out over the mountains but I never saw him.
