From our Catalina trip, had a great time... can't wait to go back!
Our luxurious abode: (the floors creaked and the beams were hand sawn... but it was warm and cozy)  Entertainment system: (No, we didn't use it and there was a flat screen TV in the front room)  My morning walk, shot from the end of the pier   Weather conditions:  Wife and I:  A light lunch with a view:  Made the mistake of introducing my wife to beachcombing, she spent the rest of the afternoon doing this:  My wife has more and better pictures, these are of my cheap cell phone.

Enjoyed your Catalina pics, Scott....nothing like coastal California! Look like Ice Plants in that planter you are sitting on....
From one of my projects I was at today....pretty cool graphics. Husband's car BTW...he's retired and in his 70's....(Old Guys Rule!)

Chinook Arch...as viewed from my bedroom window this morning!
 Chinook winds in southern Alberta can be very strong....75 top 90 Km/Hr! The arch forms before the winds appear. These winds can also be very warm (relatively). It's not unusual for the temperature to rise from -15C to +10C in a matter of an hour or so.

Nice color on the 914, Byron.
very low clouds in Houston the other day.  CTS-V wagon, I don't see them often, but have seen 2 recently, may be the same car twice.

Back from a couple days skiing. On the way up, stop off in the Alabama Hills (Cali!!!) and found this... Well, the arch is well known. Also better to take the pic during sunrise, but since this was primarily a ski trip, that wasn't in the cards.
  Also took advantage of the dark.... Milky Way, though a dim section of it.
