I was in my old neighborhood on Tuesday and decided to visit the neighborhood ballpark and snap some pics. Any familiar faces?
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1151252834.jpg For those who follow the major leagues, that's messrs. Loretta, Nixon (behind the head of the fellow in the foreground), Lowell, Youkilis, Nipper, Ramirez, Ortiz, and Crisp. Out in left field are Alfonso Soriano and two other Wa. players (don't feel like looking it up right now). |

Well, I was playing with my beater truck again, the 8&10X18s won't fit with 275s on the rear, so back to the 7&8X16 dials:rolleyes: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1151272927.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1151272939.jpghttp://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1151273011.jpg

I like that.
How did you get the lighting? Seems like sun is setting behind you (I see your shadown in the right lower corner (but its not very noticeable), how did you get the glow beyond the barn? |
John,
Thanks for the compliment. It's a digital pic which has Photoshop lighting effect filter applied. Guess it's kinda 'cheating' but I like the image anyway. Yes, I tried to hide in the shadow a bit....good catch. |
From my camera phone. My 2 y.o. grabbed my sunglasses off the kitchen counter, and put them on.

I can appreciate a Karmann Ghia project! 56/57 with the small nose grills....Now thats what I'm talkin about.
Keep us posted on the progress. I had a 70 coupe and a 70 vert. Lots of fond memories. My coupe had a 2176cc (78.4 x 94 stroke) Used to race it out at Baylands Raceway for the Wedsday night grudge matches. I gotta laugh now; scrawny 195/50 vr 15 "smokahama A008s" and still doing a 14 second 1/4 mile. Dang! I'm going to shut up now....I'm aging myself. |
hope you make a badass out of it thom.
