An example of Italian design from a hotel in Rome.
The diagram at first is clean, simple and not language specific until you try to figure out what it really means. Which arrows correspond to which picture? Are the stairs to the right? If so why is the diagram on the left? Is the elevator only for men?-why clearly show all men? And is it a good idea to mix up/down arrows with side to side? ![]() |

To be honest, the sign is totally clear to me (normally you read from left to right).
Stairs to the right, elevator to the left. Maybe we dont need that exact guidance in Europe, we are used to use our brain. (Its green! Its green! ![]() And nobody wastes a thought about the look of the icons IN the elevator but in America. :-) |

Yesterday I was behind this hauler of new Vettes heading to the local Chevy dealer. The driver had to make a U turn to get to the dealership so I got some profiles pics as I was making a left turn into Home Depot.
Six Vettes all together. How much do they sell for these days? Multiply x6 and that is how much $ on the trailer? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Banner day for me as I picked up some Coconut Palms - something that has been on my wish list for quite a few months. They are plentiful in South Florida wholesale nurseries but not so up where I am but this nursery about a 1/2 hour drive away got some 30 gal. size in - about 12' height and very healthy - so I snagged 3 of them.

Hello Baz... Close but no cigar! Hereford, AZ. 80 miles southeast of Tucson ( if you cross to Mexico, you are 3 miles too far). ![]() Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Last edited by SabaDabaDoo; 06-17-2016 at 09:41 PM.. |

Inspired by the truth of the "utterly useless" thread,
I went and spray painted my garden tractor today. Magnus has the P-car market all wrapped up for his stuff. I'm going to capture the riding lawnmower world! ![]() Not bad for a rattle can? yeah? (subtitled- "It's weird how you if you stare at something long enough it becomes art in your own delusional mind") ...Emphasis on DELUSIONAL!.... ![]() ![]() |

More North Cascades
Is what I crave!
Tomorrow morning Rich Lambert and I are headed up and over highway 20 (North Cascades Highway) in our old 911s for an adventure, we will likely end up somewhere near Omak, Oroville or Pateros for the night and reverse the route home. Meanwhile here's some photos from an overnight trip to Lake Diablo last year. Reflecting on reflections: ![]() A see through prop from my Son's stint working for a startup magazine: ![]() And of course a nice warm fire and cold beer are always favored: ![]()
