Hahahaha, thanks. Although it wasn't my surfboard. Lol I was really hoping he would stroll in but alas, he is currently off island with his jazz band. Next time, I hope. Picked up some cool things while there and scored major brownie points bringing some goodies back for relatives. It was really cool seeing his Austin in person too. Yup, Wife and I drove in so she could participate in her annual "Sisters" weekend. Both Brother-n-laws took me to the chili cook-off this past Saturday. Needless to say that I was the D.D. For the drive home. Overall, a good day. Everyone was nice and I was able to see both sets of nieces and their husbands. Got the t-shirt to prove it. Traffic sucked cheese on the freeway headed back into town due to an accident On the drive home. Bro in law #2 hamming it up. His laugh is infectious. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Veggie garden was zippo this year. Too busy. Only woody asparagus, rhubarb, a few wild cherry tomatoes, and a lot of weeds. Last year, the Montmorency cherry(self-pollinating) tree produced only a few fruits which were full of worms. I chopped it way back in the fall to get rid of stringers and create ladder access points. This year, that little tree was pure dynamite. I only picked 5-10% of everything. This was the fourth pick. The pitting cap tool was 99.99% precise and cost about $5. Very easy to use. Last edited by john70t; 10-13-2016 at 10:39 AM..

A cornucopia gift. The kale was boiled 15min then sauteed w/bacon and onion. The poblanos/tomotillos/hot orange peppers went well with frozen homemade burritos. | ||

Neighbors-to-neighbor's-kid gift needed fixing for a broken trailer leg. Couple of zaps with the Lincoln 135 (110v), little grinding, and some acrylic paint touch up. Half hour. I earned some karma points for that.
