Open flood gates from Folsom Dam, a rare sight it seems. Also seeing the rivers and flood overflow areas at levels I truly have not seen in years. The sound was impressive.

Unfortunately, due to world challenges, the days of being able to drive over the Dam are long gone.

Thanks, my $5 redneck mod.

L-R pull headlight switch, push emergency flasher, ignition. Under dash panel, light, light and oil cooler fan.
Lights are LEDs under the dash.

Looking at the pic again, I can see why you would think it's a PB, the CF overlay and 2 dimensional pic gives that impression...it is a bit counter sunk. But no, stock SC pull switch.

Cleaning up a pile of cardboard the other day, this critter scuttled out to see why I was disturbing his new home. Wolf spider. Relatively harmlesss but scare the poop out of you when they jump out.
Scraper is 9" long.

Nah. Just shepherded him off into the garden. We get lotsa critters in our garden. This was sitting on the water borehead a couple of weeks ago.

Looks like a Huntsman Spider I found at a friends house in AU. Got close to take a better picture and just knew I would scream like a little girl and drop the camera had the monster jumped at me, and I even like spiders. This thing was huge....
