Nov. 26, 2018 - rain, then freezing rain, now snow. The critters are not liking this weather.

Saw this today offshore - looks like it could be a barge being towed with something HUGE on it. Couldn't be containers I wouldn't think. This is also not a "shipping channel" so maybe something for the government, I'm guessing.

I only had a point and shoot so not a great closeup.....

RORO (roll on roll off) more than likely out of Jacksonville, probably run to Puerto Rico and back. Some are three stories high.

OK thanks - makes sense. I'm just not used to seeing them so close to shore.

I use to load and unload those at the jax shipyard when in college.
