Yes, that is the Gulf of Mexico while on a training cruise aboard the 1877 Iron Barque Elissa sailing out of Galveston on 21 October 1989.

Amazon makes us laugh.
The wife ordered me two tubes of torque seal for the bolts in the P-Car. Note the size of the tubes: ![]() My truck keys next to tubes as scale: ![]() Same set of keys, used as scale to the box Amazon used to ship two tubes of torque seal. ![]() As I mentioned earlier, it makes us laugh. And for the flip side of boxes:
I received a broken train from ebay today. The front end was smashed during shipping. I'm wondering if the box size has anything to do with it? (second pic shows how train was packaged in box with train on outside for size comparison) Last edited by LEAKYSEALS951; 07-13-2017 at 06:02 PM.. |

I was in Vero beach not too long ago (1-3 years?) when a storm almost hit, but ended up veering north. Unfortunately, the waves washed some of the beach out which included lots of turtle eggs.

Dang! One extreme to another. Sorry to hear the train was broken.
I recently re-discovered my bicentennial 1776-1976 train I got as a kid. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

How about a fish feeding frenzy?
Some Monkey planted red shiners in a rather big North Cascades lake...
They seem to be thriving and making big big Trout as a consequence. There was much rejoicing among fishing peeps. Shiners, shining: ![]() ![]()

Taken with the same lens and also a very old 8mp camera Canon EOS Digital Rebel, but not nearly as nice a shot as yours. ![]() And at the other end of the spectrum with the same lens.
