How 'bout some Porsche content? Here are 3 of the Dunkel's cars spotted at Willow Springs back in 2001. A stunning 356 Carrera 2 (4-cam) in the foreground...

Happened upon a car show downtown Stuart, Florida Saturday.

Unfortunatly our cold front was blowing through and these guys had to endure about an hour or so of rain in the morning. The rest of the day was fantastic though.

Unfortunatly I was there when it was raining.

I re-wired my pool pump control panel. Actually I had to replace the placstic box. This is how I remembered where the wires went.

Some stupid rule they have with this particular car show. Every car must have an extinguisher in front of the front right wheel.

I have never seen that before either.

Never in So. Cal. Not a bad idea to require F.E.'s, but placement seems a bit odd.

I agree. For three reasons:

1. If it is acting like a tire chock to keep the car from rolling, then it can't be used for its real purpose, unless you also want a runaway car in the middle of a fire.

2. I wonder how many folks forgot about the FE and drove over it - and then had to spend countless hours re-detailing their concours car.

3. There are so many better ways to both: prevent a car from rolling and ensuring that pics are easily id's as part of this particular concours. Then again, if I am concerned about folks using pics from my concours, I suppose I would do something similar...

Wouldn't you just love to meet the asshat committee that came up w/ that idea? I could see an extinguisher standing next to the right wheel and a chauk under the front wheel. Perhaps the idea came from some 70 year old collector who can't remember where the emergency brake handle is.

Some shots of my office:

My desk clock:

My new "wheel-table:"

And finally, my "M.C.Escher" interpretation of my desktop:
Note: this pic was NOT photoshopped.

I wish I could see the top of my desk.

It seems like a flood of paper flows at me all the time. Make it stop!
